We are thrilled to announce that Studio 203 is offering classes this summer for children K-12! This program is specifically tailored to those who are interested in pursing a deeper understanding of visual art. Both Aneesa and Sascha are experienced instructors as well as professional artists, and will be leading a series of classes that explore color theory, texture & pattern, art in nature, and textile art throughout the summer.

About the instructors

 
 

Aneesa Shami Zizzo is the co-owner and founder of Studio 203, alongside her husband, Grant Zizzo. Aneesa has taught workshops at a number of nonprofit spaces and institutions, including Craft in America Center, the Wende Museum, the Arab American National Museum, among others. She is passionate about sharing knowledge with others, and enjoys teaching technique-based workshops to both kids and adults alike.




 

Sascha Whistler is a multi-media artist specializing in portraiture collage. Her creative practice is deeply rooted in artistic stewardship. Informed by formative youth volunteering experiences, Sascha hosts workshops designed to uplift children and teens while fostering self-confidence. Her diverse portfolio spans a wide breadth of materials, including hosting beaded jewelry workshops for adults with the ultimate goal of building meaningful human connections through shared creativity.
