About

Established in February 2020, Studio 203 is an artist-run project space offering thoughtful programming through exhibitions, workshops and performances. Our mission is to provide a platform for artists that thrives beyond the sphere of traditional art hierarchies by featuring underrepresented art in a gallery setting. We champion fiber art, craft-based work, and social practice artists, especially featuring BIPOC and LGBTQ+ artists operating within these spaces. We aim to widen our community’s perspective, access to and knowledge of what art is and the people who make it.

We also produce livestream events for cultural organizations, including Helms Bakery District and Zocalo Public Square. If you are interested in our services, please reach out to us at info(at)thestudio203.org.
